February 16, 2016 6:00 PM
E-Games is one of the main events of E Week put on by TESC. In E-Games, 16 of TESC's engineering orgs will compete against one another in physical competitions for the coveted Golden Calculator. Our three main events are: capture the flag, tug of war, and scavenger hunt. With an added twist, the orgs are allotted a certain amount of money (points) in the beginning and are allowed to big on sabotages on the other team that may give them an advantage of winning, thereby recouping the money/points lost for purchasing the sabotage. The team with the most amount of money at the end of the day wins.

February 17, 2016 2:30 PM
Enspire is an annual event held during Eweek (Engineering Week) by the Triton Engineering Student Council (TESC). This is a day long event that brings in middle schoolers from the under resourced and diverse school districts including the Sweetwater Union, San Diego Unified, Vista Union, etc. This community outreach event gives students the chance to explore UC San Diego and experience engineering through presentations and tours. UC San Diego students are invited to volunteer at the event and build an experience for the middle schooler attendees. We want to inspire these kids and motivate them to work towards building a better future while we give back to our local community.
